Blog Post #31

Find an example of imagery, personification and a simile. Quote directly and give page numbers.

Imagery: "In the valley below, the orchids glowed with a pale malevolence in the moonlight, a frozen sea against the dark shore of the forest." Page 245

Personification:"She thought of the orchids spreading across the plains below, choking the life out of other plants, out of the soil itself,selfish and unstoppable." Page 244

Simile: "But the the image in her mind didn't give Tally the thrill it usaully did; it just fell flat, like a song she'd heard too many times." Page 250

Does it require braveryto meet David's Parents, why or why not? Yes it does because they are doctors and have been in the Smoke for a long time so they know what they are talking about.
